Founding of Eugen Arnold GmbH as a traditional insulation company.
1956
First relocation of the company within Filderstadt.
1985
Werner & Wolfgang Arnold appointed as managing directors.
1992
Launch of textile insulation insulation blankets production.
1993
First contract in the field of turbine insulation.
1994
Presentation of our first precision-fit insulating pads with retaining clips at the ASME Turbine Fair in The Hague. Here the first OEM's became aware of ARNOLD.
1995
Introduction of 3D CAD design technology in ARNOLD company and establishment of CAD-CAM production.
Opening of the first international service location in Singapore.
1996
Expansion of the product portfolio with heat tracing heating systems.
1998
Neubau in der Carl-Zeiss-Straße in Filderstadt und Eröffnung des Produktionsstandorts in der Slowakei.
2004
First projects in the automotive and field service sectors.
2005
First use of 3D scans to support CAD design.
2007
Opening of the site in China for the manufacture of gas and steam turbine insulation for the Chinese market.
2008
Opening of locations in Dubai and Spain.
Start of mobile on-site machining.
2009
Inauguration of the new 22,600 sq. ft. site in Slovakia. At this time, around 40 employees work at ARNOLD Izolácie.
2015
Opening of the US location to tap into the American market, with 3800 sq. ft. of space and 5 employees.
2016
Acquisition of the on-site machining company BiHeRa and opening of the Ratingen site with workshop.
2024
Relocation from Filderstadt-Harthausen to Aichtal to the new ARNOLD Group headquarters with 69,000 sq. ft. and 145 employees.
The ARNOLD Group now employs over 500 people worldwide.
Completion of the 1000th turbine insulation.
